Seger formed the Silver Bullet Band in 1973 with fellow Detroit-area musicians. Seger’s breakthrough album was his sophomore solo album, Beautiful Losers, which was released in 1975. Seger followed that with the live album Live Bullet and studio album Night Moves, both released in 1976. Night Moves was Seger’s first big album to earn national radio airplay across multiple radio formats. Night Moves was also the first of what turned out to be 8 consecutive certified platinum albums for Bob Seger & The Silver Bullet Band from 1976 through 1991. Seger released his Greatest Hits album in 1994, which was recently certified diamond (10x platinum).
