Tour:  A Night Of Legendary Proportions

It’s been a long 2 years since St. Madness performed here in the Phoenix area.  But finally, they came back to the 44 Sports Grill & Nightlife to give their fans an amazing show.  It was everything that we were expecting from St. Madness.  Great music and an interesting stage show.

All of the members of St. Madness came out with some form of face painting; most were white with black strips.  It reminded me a lot of Ghost.

During the song, “Arizona”, they had someone come on stage and wave the Arizona State Flag.  The very next song was something to behold.  During “Vampires In The Church” the lead singer drank “blood (assumed fake)” from a challis.  Other members of the band must have done it also, but I was fixated and photographing on the lead sing.  So, for the rest of the performance, they had blood stains around their mouths and down their neck.

Even with the make-up and theatrics, they put on a great show.  They are good musicians and their songs are very good.  This was the first time I have seen St. Madness and I really enjoyed their performance and music.  I can recommend seeing them if you like good heavy metal music.  Hopefully it won’t be another 2 years before we get to see them again.

Billy T at The 44 Sports Grill & Nightlife, Glendale, AZ on January 17th, 2026

The night started with Billy T.  He played acoustic guitar.  Due to a late cancellation by another band, they moved Billy’s start time to 7:30.  They also allowed him to perform longer.  He had a nice set of acoustic songs.

Next up was N2.  They are a local Rock Metal Rap band (that is a mouth full).  Their brand of music was very interesting.  Their lead singer, Jesse Hunter belted out the lyrics as the rest of the band laid down the heavy metal beat.  The rest of the members of the band are Bassist Lance Grant, guitarist Stony T and drummer Brad O’Brien.  I really enjoyed they style of music and can recommend them.

Secrets Of Lost Empires at The 44 Sports Grill & Nightlife, Glendale, AZ on January 17th, 2026

After St. Madness, came the local psychedelic/progressive/heavy rock band, Secrets Of Lost Empires.  It was a shame that they can on so late.  Most of the audience was burned out by the great St. Madness performance.  But this 3-piece band still gave it their all.  For the next 7 songs, they showed us why they are a local favorite.
