If you grew up in the 60s or just love 60s music then this is the show for you, Tommy James & The Shondells. Tommy James & The Shondells were a mainstay on AM radio in the mid and late 60s. With multiple mega hits including “Mony Mony”, “I Think We‘re Alone Now”, “Gettin’ Together” and “Crystal Blue Persuasion”. He is also one of the most covered song writers from that time, include “Crimson and Clover” that has been covered by Joan Jett, Cher and Prince. So come and join us at The Celebrity Theatre in Phoenix on Saturday February 3rd and see one of the greatest artist from the 60s perform some of his amazing hits.
I have seen Tommy James multiple times and he always puts on an outstanding performance. Listening to his music makes me remember all of the good times growing up in the 60s.
Joining Tommy as the lead up act will be Max Gomez. He is a singer song-writer from New Mexico. I have also seen Max a few times and he is extremely good. He plays as a solo artist with an acoustic guitar.
If you plan on coming to see this show, Danny Zelisko, The Celebrity Theatre and St. Mary’s Food Bank usually auction off a signed guitar. So if they do and you are interested in getting a signed guitar by Tommy James, then make sure you bring your credit card.
Tickets are available either through www.dzplive.com (Danny Zelisko Presents) or www.celebritytheatre.com . Tickets range from $35 to $95. The stage will be in the round for this concert. Also, no seat is over 75 ft from the stage, so you will have a great view of the performance. Show starts at 7:30PM. Parking is available for $10.
