Disturbed’s Long Await Performance Finally Arrives

Disturbed had originally come to Phoenix in the summer of 2023 but unfortunately due to machine malfunctions caused by the heat, the band had to cancel. Everyone left Talking Stick Amphitheater disappointed.

The day finally arrive, Disturbed was back at Talking Stick Amphitheater. The show was set to be a good one and one that was going to be packed; the show was sold out! The line wrapped down the street and around the corner.  People waited up to an hour in the line to find parking and some people made it in just in time to catch Disturbed’s set.

Disturbed was formed in 1994 in Chicago, Illinois. They are a heavy metal band. Their line up is made up by Dan Donegan – guitars/keyboards/backing vocals, Mike Wengren – drums/percussion/programming/backing vocals, David Draiman – lead vocals and John Moyer – bass/backing vocals. The band holds a special place in many fans lives and what is so magical is that their shows consists it families with multiple generations attending.

The lights dimmed and everyone rushed to their seats. The time was finally upon everyone; Disturbed ascended onto the  stage. They began to play “Hey You”. Fans cheered and instantly got up from their seats! They could not sit still any longer. They wanted to jump and scream their hearts out!

The second song they played was a crowd favorite: “Stupify”. Everyone was so happy and Disturbed was really putting on a show. In between songs Damian would talk to the audience to create that engagement with them and make their experience more special.

Disturbed also went the extra mile by using pyrotechnics in their show. Everyone was enjoying the show and Disturbed really made sure to play some of their most popular songs; including  “ Ten Thousand Fists”, a cover of “The Sound of Silence” and “The Game”.  Disturbed closed their set out with a three songs encore. They performed “Unstoppable” followed by “Down With The Sickness” and “Inside the Fire”.  Overall this band created a performance that everyone will remember and cherish.
